Method. Every curve on Figure 502 was digitized from the uploaded page (about 1 px = 3 ft-lb, 0.6 pph, 0.03 % Ng, 0.6 °C) and stored at 1 °C steps. Values are linear in temperature between steps and linear in altitude between the two bracketing curves, the same way the chart is read by hand.
Pressure altitude. Worked out from QFE with the ISA formula. Below sea level the SL curve is used.
